Our political system no longer allows for much truth-telling. Media and culture have assigned roles to our political leadership forcing them to play along instead of advocating for what they truly believe. 

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is the first official “war’’ in the full blown digital era. This adds multiple new dimensions to the conflict created by Vladimir Putin. Everyone from the Biden administration to Putin to the European governments to the world market is struggling to adjust to the new reality brought on by the Internet. 

Christina Nolan is running for the U.S. Senate. Sounds great. The more candidates -especially the more women candidates - the better. 

The American system of government is just that, a system. It’s not perfect but its intention is good. It’s designed to curtail excess power in government, keep order in society and protect the rights of citizens at the federal, state and local level. Not too bad.
